Nice calm conditions and a slow freeze equals nice big regular crystals! They started small by the shore and gradually got larger further out. Absolutely great effect though, like some post-modernist painting of some sort.

Like that rippled textured 60's glass you still see in old offices, and a lot like a few digital filters I've seen over the years!

I can see somewhat of a fox face near the left top .. or angry eyes when you look a bit lower .. then the fox head become brows o.o
