Your watermarks are horrible and ruin the drawing...

If I didn't have to worry about theft I wouldn't put them on.

What do they do once the image is downloaded?...

Unless the watermark is somehow removed, if it is re-printed it always has my name on it, proving that it's theft.

It really is pretty useless. It is very easy to realize that it is a robbery, especially when someone has the ability to realize their senseless mix of styles. Many times I have found pages that steal the art of others, like those wallpaper sites, yuck! But all that has been achieved is that I discard those sites to never return, otherwise, I look for and find their signature, either in the name of the file or in the metadata, or perhaps in the signature of the drawing if I reach read, and always trace its author to its origin, which leads me to places like this. In short, it is inevitable.

Perhaps it is inevitable, but that is exactly why the watermark. Proof that it's theft. You are in the minority as far as tracing art back to its original creator. The vast majority of people will buy off of sites that steal from artists without a care where the original work came from.

That leaves me and many other artists without income for our hard work.
