An experimental step into visual artwork for me! This is a coloration and edit of a rather nice icon by the wonderfully (and appropriately) named
comfycushion, so most of the credit goes to him.
This version of it is... half of Coco from Industrial Zone 4 getting ready for her appearance. In honesty the model in the icon is probably a little... bigger... than she was meant to be, but I don't think I'll get many complaints!
It's the first time I've tried digitally coloring anything, but I was surprised by how simple the process was to get something that looked good, particularly with the shading already in place. Copying the base layer, reducing it to outlines, then setting it to multiply (and a bit of bulge tool on the logo) was all that was needed, though I wasn't sure how to really do the "stripe" across her face where the lighter fur meets the dark.

Well, thanks :) It's always fantastic to see comments on it from people who I don't regularly talk to! There was the Ginger and Anise illustration by Ojin from IZ5, and that's pretty much it so far - though I know Susi is very enthusiastic as well, when I get round to commissioning him :)
