- When Mason adopted Sumi from that laboratory he made sure he is loved and trained to used his powers for good instead of evil. Along with his sister Tomomi they sometimes watch Sumi using his flames for the first time and praise him. Even though did everything he could to make sure Sumi is not taken away he still must be on the look out from any potential enemies.
