A French student attending college in England with a rough past is kicked out of her flatshare and onto the street in the rain. With nowhere else to go, she sits at a bus-stop waiting for it to take her...anywhere really.
As luck would have it, her Economics professor had to stay on campus late that night and just happened to be passing by. She seems sympathetic despite the veiled insults hurled by the wet, cold pupper...

Given the fact that she is not speaking in elaborate french but rather tends to use slang expressions, "miss" is totally appropriate since it is used litterally, without any consideration to the person it is addressed to, age, marital status or whatever. You would for example say "Miss je-sais-tout" ("Miss I-know-everything") to mock somebody who would regularly correct others in conversations, a typical french expression.
Nope, because once again, she is using "faudrait" instead of the correct "il faudrait", it totally falls under the "slang" material!
Two very largely spread examples of this use:
"Faudrait pas déconner"
"Faudrait pas pousser mémé dans les orties"
(which both are VERY slang ways to say not to go over certain limits)
