Ancel In The Warforged Body - By Tegerio
Wonderful sketchy art by
Tegerio
Okay, i needed to redo the art for an old character of mine which i always had used sketchy stuff... and Tegerio comes and surprises me with this interpretation of his. Kudos! ❤👍
Ancel has always been a dear NPC among mine as a GM and she was the stand-in helper of many adventures before ending like this in a very specific one which was... the longest i ever played. Took around 5 years from start to finish.
At this specific point in her NPC life she was abducted and literally debrained and transplanted in a warforged/golem-like body, most of it was to show the players that... doing a very specific thing in that adventure was... contrary to normal adventures where "doing that is the only thing to do"... the opposite of "a good thing".
I always used a stand-in for her art, from whatever book i could find around that depicted a somewhat feminine robot with a brain in a jar. Finally, upon re-vising this old adventure... i went and sought Tegerio to get the art drawn properly. She does not look like i imagined her to look. But she does indeed look in a way i find very appropriate.
