If I could afford having 20 cats, I'd get a new kitten every year just so I could always have a youngun' around the den

Yeah, alot of her features seem to point to a torti, but some of it seems like a little something else, most likely american shorthair or maybe tabby, but otherwise she seems to be mainly torti. I don't know why I just randomly thought of this, but I can see being called Tammy(or maybe spelled differently), so maybe through that into your list of possible names, either that or Sunshine's coming to mind, too. Cx
I'm not at all trying to be rude here, (Please dun take it the wrong way ;o;), but you know Tortoishells are so-called only due to their brindled markings?? They ARE mixed cats, they aren't a breed. The definition of the colour is usually brindled markings, mostly black and orange, sometimes mixed with blues, creams and reds. The other factor is that the have no white in their coats, save for a tiny tiny percentage overall.
Also, straying further from this rule and adding more white, means the cats are called "tortie and white", and the more diluted the colouring by genetics, the lighter the colours become as well.
To say she is a "mix breed" is entirely correct, because torties are only ever mixes. :D
Also you prolly know this, but jsut for the sake of it, torties are predominantly female because the dominant chromosomes for the tortie coat colours (Black and orange) are found only in the X chromosome (female).
(I was a genetics student so I find this crap interesting cuz I am sad ;o;)

Oh, okay, thank you, I didn't really know about that... x3;;;
Yeah, it's a shame there really isn't all that much of male ones. I did know that part about Tortoishells.
I don't mind the correction though, I understand you were just trying educate me about what they really are, and I thank you for informing me. I am not offended at all. *bows*
What mix of breeds do you think you see in her? Cause I think there might be some American Shorthair, or maybe some Tabby aswell, probably even some Calico, though I could be wrong. >w<;;;

Looking at her closely, I say she has Ginger Tabby in her, maybe some Siamese or Burmese or oriental cat in her (look at her dainty pointed chin and her larger ears, they remind me of Siamese, one of my black cats is jsut like her in the face and he is the most vocal pussy cat ever XD He's great! I also own a Tonkinese). As for Calico cats, I believe that Calico is the name given to torties which have white in their fur and are tri coloured, it is possible she may have calico in her because the white fur isnt as dominant compared to the black/orange gene. She very likely has several domestic shorthair breeds in her :) That could be anything. Perhaps she even has Abyssinian in her looking at her fur type, the longer hairs on her body are quite like the Abysinnian.
And I am really glad you weren't upset with my comment, thanks for taking it well :D I might come across as being rude but I never mean to, I am very enthusiastic and like to have conversations with people randomly and make new friends :D!!

Nah, it's okay, I ca be the same way! xD
Yeah, I was definitely noticing those large pointy ears, and I do see the Abysinnian in her fur, now that you mention it. I noticed the look of her fur, but I wasn't quite sure what breed it could be coming from. I'm surprised I didn't spot any of that that right away, I love Abysinnians, and my cat is a Rgdoll, though I think she has some kind of oriental breed in her aswell, and she has large, really pointed ears like that, too.
Super! I love making friends, too! Hopefully I can get a better scanner soon, cause I just recently drew some Scottish Fold kitten twins, and I think you might get a kick out of seeing them! Cx

omgaaarrr ;o; I would love to see them :D ahahahaha *bows* nice to meet you :D
I had two abyssinnian crosses, one was mostly an abyssinian (the coppery kind) and the other one I still have, he's a maine coon cross abyssinian who is silver and chunky built. XD He's so handsome, I love him ;o;
And omg jealous. I love ragdolls. They're the most teddy-bearish cats ever and look so friendly and dozy lol XD awwww !!

Oh, yesss~ I wish I could see them! They sound so cute! Especially the Maine Coon cross.... ////>w<////
Yeah, my dad named her, obviously he didn't try all that hard, he named her Kat. But I just ended up calling her Kitterz, anyway. I wasn't able to take her with me once I moved out, but he refused. I just hope he's actually taking good care of her, cause the one time I was gone for more than a week, she trashed the whole house cause I was gone, so she freaked out. She's so attached to me, and she was my first friend, so I'm pretty attached to her aswell. Once I get back from bootcamp, I'm thinking of taking her with me once I move into my apartment with my hubby. My dad'll just think she ran away, so he won't care. She's really old, so I really want to be there with her when she passes on, not just for her sake, but my own aswell.
She's so adorable, though! Cause she was the runt of her litter, and even though she's about thirteen now, she still so small, she looks like a little kitten, still! When I first saw her, she was maybe only a week or so old, and she was so tiny, she could fit into the palm of my hand! I miss so much~

http://illustein.deviantart.com/art.....khi-2-86385293 This is my Maine-Coon/Abyssinian cross. His name is Loukhi.
http://illustein.deviantart.com/art.....azing-72373494 I also have a Maine Coon cross called Phoenix. She's stunning ;o; But this is the only good full-body shot I can find of her on my sister's gallery.
XD! I love them both, they're very cute cats. Phoenix is a little madam though... she doesnt even like me for some reason, so odd.
Aww I would want to be there for my cat too if she was going to pass away. It would be horrible to be apart when that happened :/ It would be really surreal for you for a long time, maybe always. :( I hope you can be together at that time for both your sakes. 13 is a great age, she could live to 17 though. Lots of my cats have been 16/17 before they pass away so hopefully you can have her a few years more :).

Omigosh, they're both so precious... And Phoenix looks so big and fluffy, too! Maybe even little hefty, though it makes her even cuter! x3
Yeah, I know she could very well live for even a lot longer, but my old cat Whiskers, he died around 14 or 15, so I just want to be sure... Plus, if she does live longer than that, then it'd be even better, cause then if I did take her with me, then I'd have her all to myself for a few years. Cx
