We never really get the final story of Rock and Roll, just knowing X is built and finished in the future timeline. I want to assume they had a happy little robot life off somewhere.

I can see this as an alternative to the X timeline.

Or... maybe even using his hologram tech to take the old body of OG Mega Man to keep fighting when the future needs a smidge more help!

It shouldn't *have to be an alternative. We know the last bot Light created was X, but how much time existed before X was finished by Dr. Cain? I expect Megaman G, Rock, Rush and Roll had many years together as a family.
