"Life in Magnolia Fields was rough for Charlie, People hardly tolerated her kind. "Cold-Bloods" they called her type. Treated as second class citizens by mammals due to petty prejudice. Prejudice not many even knew why they had anymore. People blindly ingrained in tradition. For Charlie, the best place to escape it all was the quiet fishing hole in the woods only she seemed to know about. Here there was nothing but the sounds of nature around her. The soft comforting sounds of water running into the pond from the creek. Nothing seemed to matter here. It was a place where everything seemed to fade away, Like a dream."
