Well you have a well crafted character with Dirk/Destiney. Your plot is very good as of now and has potential you just need to decide were to go, because it can go some pretty good places if you set the story in the right place. Very strong emotinal description as well. Good flow as well. Very grand in form of story telling. Best of luck with the rest.
