I'm back for realsies now, I swear!
I've attended this year's Cartoomics comic convention in Milan with Lock, this past weekend. It's been our usual "workcon" for 4 years now and we're indeed starting to see the positive results of our perseverance! Both LWY 1 and 2 sold well, we had a lot of old and new people coming to visit our stand, and overall, it's been a busy but very happy event. We should supposedly feel exausted now that we're back to our usual life, but instead we're even more pumped than usual and ready to wrok on our projects! That includes LWY 3 of course but also all our commissions, so you'll see gallery progress very soon.
In the meanwhile, here are the doodles I did live at the convention in between a booksign and another. We did bring some art supplies in case someone would ask us for a commission, but we were mostly expecting to do sketches, so all we had were a few copics and a bunch of watercolours to give just a finishing touch to our inks. It's mostly silly stuff!
The Kirby Krackle Flareon is the first thing I did while there, as eeveelutions and Pokèmon in general are a great way to start attracting people to one's own stand xD While the silly meme (with digital text added by Lock) was the last thing I did before packing up everything on Sunday evening, and I guess it shows I was a tad exausted. The totally radical Armordillo is by far my fav doodle, though!
