Training program : the long breath

All the cubs are queuing at one end of the main pool, they jump one after the other at each of their turn in the water, then take a deep breath and have to swim until the other end 100m away in one breath. No wall initial propulsion allowed as it is considered cheating as it gives you initial speed and distance.
Here Louis is trying his best to reach it but he is not even at the distance's halfway but is already reaching his lungs' limit.
He then has blue blush, puffed cheeks, burning lungs, heavying and convulsing chest, dizzy mind and begins to see "little stars".
All cubs failed to reach the other end, it was to be expected as this training is meant to be a slow progression over the years until they finally succeed it.
It took 8 years for the little raccoon to achieve it.
