This is a post that I wanted to make in case I lose acsess to this site.

So the EU is planeing to propose new Copyright Laws. And one of them labeld Article 13 is technicaly going to destroy the internet in the EU.

The article in a nutshell: If a user uploads copyrighted material to a social site (Facebook, Youtube, Deviant Art, Furraffinity, Patreon, ect.) than the social site can be held accountable for the material.

To comply with this law sites has to apply strict censore rules and automated filters. And even with those implemented there is still a chance that those materials will slip through. So they either take a risk for every single user they have or simply blocks peoples acsess from the EU.

The EU representatives will vote in this or the following month about the law.
