Short story below!

It had been awhile since your last date, so it was a given that you were nervous. Never mind the fact that it was a blind date, and you had no idea what you were getting yourself into. You just tried your best to stay calm.
Behind you you heard thumping, your glass shaking with each thud. Before you could move to the source of the sound, you hear a faint whisper:
“Excuse me, are you here for the blind date?”
You look towards the voice, not expecting it’s source to be so...big. The mammoth nearly doubled your own height and even more so your width. You questioned how she managed to fit through the door with her sizable hips.
Despite the notable size difference, she seemed to be even more nervous than you!
“My name's Marianne, it’s nice to meet you.”
Her voice, her eyes, the cute way she put flowers on her hair, a warm feeling grew throughout your body. Giving the mammoth a smile, you invite her to sit with you, and the date begins.
Whatever fears you had quickly melted away, the two of you hit it off really well. Over time Marianne looked less nervous, enjoying yourself and even laughing at one of your jokes! (No one laughs at your jokes!) You wanted to just reach out and give her a hug; Marianne's fur alongside her plushness made her look warm and cuddly. You wouldn't tell her this, but the thought still lingered in your head.
At this point you were head over heels for Marianne, completely lost in her eyes. You swore you had to look up further to see her face then when she first came in, but that was probably a trick of the light.
Marianne's cheerful expression turns anxious as she asks you for a minute outside. You wanted to finish your dinner first, but you oblige the mammoth.
Once outdoors, Marianne takes a deep breath. As she exhales she gets bigger? She’s gaining height and weight right before your eyes! Guess what happened at the restaurant wasn't a trick of the light after all.
Before you know it Marianne grows at least a foot or two. Seeing the confusion on your face, your date explains herself: For a while now she’s had to deal with a condition, the more affection she receives, the bigger she grows. She says on one hand it’s a relief, it lets her know when a date is interested in her, much like yourself. Although she does have to constantly worry about outgrowing several things, small rooms included.
Taking a look at Marianne once again, you notice that her clothes are beginning to burst at the seams, with no sign of stopping. She notices you staring and sighs.
“The truth is I have no idea how big I can get. It can be really annoying, so I understand if you want to cut things off now…”
Her trunk droops a little, saddened at the thought.
You lost any interest in finishing your meal. Without saying a word you close the distance between you and the mammoth, pulling her into your embrace. Your head was barely able to touch her tummy, it's warmth seeping onto you. Marianne’s trunk trumpets in shock from your sudden hug, it was like she was being extra cute on purpose.
She said it herself, you were the reason she was growing, and as long as you were with her, she won’t stop growing anytime soon.
