Indeed it would! Though I'd prefer accurate paint and colours.
If the BNSF did GN, SF, NP, CB&Q etc. I want to see locos as if we were taking a photo in 1965. As much as I applaud UP for doing these heritage engines, it's a significant modification of how C&NW or WP painted their locos before they were absorbed.
(Heck, CNW 8646 and 8701 are still out there!).

i like the paint job on that commemorative unit. the u.p. did one in s.p. daylight too. each having as road number the year they were gobbled up. saw the wp and sp ones together when they came through roseville what was it, a couple of months ago or less, something like that.
