I had a cruel prank played on me by my parents right before they gave me the Super Nintendo for christmas, but other than that, I have the fondest memories of this system. NES opened the door for me, and Nintendo 64 tried my patience and tolerance for cheap graphics. The SNES defined my pre-teen childhood.

Great games for SNES in my opinion:

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - The best Zelda game of all time
Lufia 2: Rise of The Sinistrals - The best RPG ever made, period.
Super Castlevania IV - A dark, gothic story full of creepy music and visuals.
Super Mario World - What more can I say about this masterpiece?
Earthworm Jim - Twisted humor and crazy graphics.
Bram Stoker's Dracula - My favorite movie, and some of the scariest music I've ever heard in a video game.
Mega Man X - Exciting and fun...before it became so insanely difficult as the series went on.
Primal Rage - I liked this better than Mortal Kombat in the arcades.
Super Mario Kart - The only racing game I ever liked. Before the stupid Blue Shells came along later in the series.
