So, a number of weeks ago, I chimed in to try and get an open slot from an amazing artist. A couple of weeks later, I received a WIP from her, which completely and utterly made my entire month!
And now, it appears as though she has made this month also with the completed piece! n_n

Oh, I am so happy that I was one of the lucky few chosen for this set of slots she opened up, and will definitely be keeping an eye out for future slots that she opens up.
