Blargh. I was bored. I had a thought when I saw 'Turtles Forever'. If the turtles were gone, then OCs would be gone too.

Heh, I was actually about to send you a message asking if you had seen that movie yet. I recently got back into TMNT love as well, even bought the entire 2003 TMNT series (except for the back to the sewer, haven't found it for sale yet) and saw that... I both grinned and facepalmed when I saw the old turtles interracting with the new ones.
