it's ALWAYS ok to ask me about how i do stuff :) i learned a lot of the things i know from other artists too <3

i definitely did use a brush for the grass! i've struggled with hand painting it too, its not easy!

often i will use a premade grass brush, then paint over certain parts to give it a more natural look~

sometimes artist don't like it to share something and they say "learn it by yourself" . :/

CSP is awesome for brushes!! i havent gotten used to it for doing my normal artwork though, but i love all the free brushes available :D

and i know.. i've been told some pretty rude things by other artists when just curious about certain brushes or techniques :(
a lot of it stems from some strange insecurity that their "style" will be taken.. and also the "i worked so hard to get this far, no one can know my secrets!!"

i think it is really important to share knowledge in the art community <3

Yeah same. I do my adopts n stuff in sai but painting landscapes are just to much fun in csp! :)

And you are right, i love watching artist how they do stuff but im to scared to ask them how they do things.... :(

they are realistic clouds so they are a little finicky to work with, but they look great with some layering and hand painting :)
