ahh i'm happy to be finally uploading this! ;; a ref i finished up a while ago for deluge ♥ This one took a long while but i am so satisfied with the end result! the proportions on this character were super fun to get down and line and i'm just? very happy about the work i put in!
I can never decide on whether to shade or not shade refs and i need to find a middle balance maybe? or just not shade them bc i definitely want to draw up something thats color picking friendly!

oh thank you! ;;/ I,, super love shaded references for personal characters especially to display on my fa? its a dumb weakness bc i always end up exasperated when i accidentally take a color from a shaded portion of the character!

i LOVE to shade stuff, but if its a refsheet, i always provide both a flat color and shaded version <3
people generally display their shaded version in their gallery, then link to a flat color version in the description below (or they upload both) :P

oh thank you! the lines came out exactly as i wanted them and its a shame fa doesn't allow for bigger sizes bc this would look way nicer if it was a bit bigger? so the detail was a crisper but oh well :'3
but hey! thats,, actually super fair :0c i should maybe start doing something like that? i love being able to shade refs but it usually doesn't feel worth it if its just going to muddy up the character's colors/markings but thats a great point and i definitely agree!
