While looking down from the bridge offers one perspective on the height, looking at it from below gives one another feeling; the knowledge that one must climb back up to that elevation to get home. :P
This bridge has been here for well over 90 years, and it shows. Having a tree growing out of the centre of the bridge is one way to tell this, though the plaque on one end of the bridge contains plenty of interesting information. There is also a weight restriction, which is a pity given that the only way to get to the upper side of the valley is via a sharp bend. One would hope that there are many vested interests in keeping this bridge standing.
Hope you enjoy!
