I'm really sad people...A dog that has been in the family for almost 10 years, who is severely crippled, is no longer allowed to stay with my brother. My dad says we have to put him in a new family, but you people don't know how Brownie reacts without us. He stops eating, he does nothing but lay there...he goes into a depression. He is generally just a sad dog without us. I have space for him, but since I am in college, I don't have a lot of money, and he needs to go to the vet for his teeth and ears and i need to get him into physical therapy..The love of my life said he would help me out with him, but i could really use some more help as well. This dog is like a toddler. He needs a lot of diaper changing and needs to be fed and picked up after. You have to carry him up and down stairs, and anywhere outside. He is a special needs doggy, but I love him with all my heart, and am sitting here crying my eyes out at the thought of getting rid of a dog that I like more than most of my blood relatives. Please help me. Please help him. He deserves to be happy and around people he knows, instead of dying in a kennel because no one wants to adopt a high maintenance dog. I also need some money to send my dad every month cause I am going to convince him to take my smaller dog Jack, since he desperately needs a yard, which I don't have. So please, help me keep Brownie. He is such a good doggy. He deserves to be able to stay. These circumstances aren't his fault and it would be wrong to send him packing because of them.
