One of my earliest memories is of my Mother handing me the controller to our Nintendo and telling me which button made Mario jump. She had been playing it first, and I took control in Level 1-2. I couldn't have been more than four or five, but from then on, I was hooked on Nintendo. The Super Mario Bros Super Show was on at the time too, and Captain Lou Albano made Mario real for me on TV. Years later in sixth grade I learned he was a WWF wrestler and manager, and I recognized him. I wish I could have met him.
Great games for NES in my opinion:
Bucky O'Hare - I liked the cartoon first, and the NES game was the last NES game I was given when you were able to buy them new in any retail store in the mid 90's. They were phased out shortly after to make room for Super Nintendo and Sega. It may very well be my favorite NES game.
Super Mario Bros. 2 - As you may know already, I played Mario 3 all the time as a kid, but I didn't OWN Mario 3 until 2010. I had Mario 2 and played the hell out of it growing up. Mario 3 was a masterpiece, but Mario 2 meant much more to me as a kid. Probably because of the expanded roster of playable characters.
Ducktales - Capcom knocked it out of the park with this one. I loved the show and loved the game. The HD Remastered video game remake brought me tears of joy. Those same tears of joy came when I watched the Disney TV show remake and I heard the music from The Moon stage in the season 1 finale..
Castlevania 2: Simons Quest - My favorite Castlevania game. Not many people liked it, but I liked the open-world feel to it, and the soundtrack was to die for.
Castlevania - I only rented it twice, but I loved the spooky feel it exuded. As a kid, it made me think a whip was a cooler weapon than a sword.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Yes, the incredibly difficult first one. No, I never beat until years later with Game Genie, but it didn't stop me from playing it and exploring the sewers of New York City.

Its a good thing I don't re-upload my ENTIRE perler gallery every other day on here and promote commercials. And at least mine are not just palette swaps of the same sprite over and over....Someone would probably complain very loudly if I were to ever do that.
