Sweetie sounds so adorable in this picture! I think she would walk in to a patient's room with those diapers showing so obviously to help them know that there is no shame in needing the protection while they heal after going through a tough surgery.

Sweetie wearing a diaper would also help the patient feel less embarrassed about wearing diapers as the nurse in a diaper means the patient is not the only one needing such a poofy piece of protection.

I could have really used her services a week ago. I actually just had an emergency surgery that I am recovering from. General anesthesia really makes you feel yucky after it you wake up from it. Fortunately I am healing good and will be returning to work tomorrow.

I still wouldn't mind Sweetie coming by to fluff me up, though. I know I'd sleep better and forget the soreness if I was all cozy in one of her diapers. :)

I'm really sorry for you needing surgery :( You should felt really bad. It is nice that you're so much better right now. I feel that maybe the drawing could be even offensive for you :S but thanks to Celestia that it wasn't and instead you liked the idea so much and find it even as something that you should experience. Hope you get completely better really soon and thanks for leaving all the time amazing comments about my drawings.

I took your description and thought of how I felt when I was in the recovery hotel I stayed in after they removed my eye. I was so tired and it hurt quite a lot. However I feel myself smiling with Padded Nurse sweetie coming into the room, adjusting the sheets, talking all nice as she kindly pads me up, and then tucks me back in with well wishes for a healthier day.

It kind of helps me feel less yucky about what I went through to imagine your Diapered Sweetie Belle Nurse having been there for me over a week ago. It helps make the memories of the recovery more pleasant.

I am back to work now and my eye, or lack of eye, is feeling a lot better. So now I am writing friends back as you and many others did a lot to help me feel better before, during, and after surgery.

Now I just need to read your Apple Bloom Waterfall Story. I feel really behind on FiM Fiction. However, perhaps on Sunday, I will get to read it. I have the story saved in my Favorites until I can read it. :)
