A fierce battle of bonds and conviction!
The news had reached him. His former trainer, Frostbite, had gone missing after being assigned to search for the already MIA Wildifre. The League his mentor was in might have pulled back out of the city, but as Shock Dragon was flying solo, he did not need permission to head to the city in question.
Not days after his arrival and investigating, he received a tip that someone had seen Frostbite in a publicly-restricted construction zone. Not one to turn away a potential lead, he followed up on the tip and it lead him to the former hero who now donned a suit encasing his entire body in black rubber with both familiar and new markings. But the biggest giveaway was the polar bear's head cover peeled away like goo, letting the dragon hero see his face and instantly recognize him.
"Frostbite, sir..."
"Dragonheart. I see you've changed. Shock Dragon now, is it?"
"As have you, sir. But you are correct, that's what I go by now, Frostbite."
"I am no longer that, I now am....02."
"02...? There's no way I'm gonna let that fly! Whoever did this to you, I'll make them pay for it! I promise that, just as I promise I will save you from this!"
"Master has much as his disposal. Show me you've grown strong and smart enough to carry out those promises. Because if you lose...this fate awaits you as it did me for my own failure. Are you ready, my student?"
"I'm always ready, and I refuse to lose here. I won't leave you to your fate. Not this time!"
"Then let us begin-" 02's starts as his face becomes covered by the goo, forming into the headpiece of the suit.
"-no holding back!" Shock finishes for him, getting into a fighting stance as his gloves go live with lightning.
They remember the time they spent together as master and student, locking gazes as they watch the other closely. Training consistently, finding the powers Dragonheart could use, spending quality time together and becoming good friends. All before the incident that drove them apart.
A pin drops, and the two charge forward at each other almost instantly, lightning sparking across Shock's body and gloves as his mask eyeholes and chest emblem begin glowing while 02's hands are covered in subzero energy, clashing their arms into a power struggle once they get close enough, the lightning and ice making a small explosion of cold and electric energy upon the clash.

This is a bit of a follow-up to this image of Shock Dragon's prior alias of Dragonheart which had trained under Frostbite to become a superhero. And after going their separate ways due to a spoiler-y incident from the Frostbite comic, they have reunited in a most interesting fashion with Frostbite being no longer himself but 02 and Dragonheart having a new alias and costume that he uses.
Overall a dramatic and emotional battle for the both of them!
