Sometimes you have to dig out Ye Olde Monstrous Manual to figure out what the heck you just ate. Especially when what you just ate is a group of little known outer planar creatures. At least she didn't have to choke down the cubic or tetrahedral ones.
What Uvuzi learned from this experience is that modrons, superficially resembling fleshy-metallic spheres in this case, go down without much trouble but turn out to be rather difficult to digest. But 'difficult' isn't the same as 'impossible' and while she decided that the resulting tummyache was more trouble than the meal was worth, that was of little consolation to the modrons who'd just gotten a trip through her digestive tract. 83

Planescape: Torment. Which I knew was considered one of the greatest video games of all time, but only today learned that it somehow obtained this distinction in spite of only 73,000 people having ever played it (me, a guy who buys on average one video game every two years, somehow having been one of them).
Two of the available companions are Morte, a disembodied floating skull, and Nordom, a modron who is "backwards" after getting trapped in Limbo.

Eeew. Why would Uvuzi want to eat a bunch of base Modrons? That'd be like eating a bunch of grandfather clocks, with about as much personality.
They'd be damn hard to digest even with an "iron stomach", they don't need to breathe so she'd be stuck with them for a long time alive in there, and they'd keep trying to do their last task inside her.
She needs to look before she noms sometimes.
