I suppose it's true that anywhere you are is a land of hardwood, but it's not the same as woodland is it? Sure it's a thriving habitat with many exotic creatures crawling around, but they wouldn't put it on a postcard.
I prefer chicken, sometimes turkey if it's cooked well. Figures you'd have a fowl mouth though.

They'll crawl off wherever I let them.
You can't beat pheasant! Those ringnecks are damned tasty. I wish I could get them here in Cal. I used to have a friend back in Utah that shot them in season and brought them home to roast with potatoes and carrots, and they were the yummiest thing ever!! *slurp*

Nay, nay! You can't beat turkey. Proper turkey that you have to go out and shoot. Aaah yes, we've had ones too big to fit in the oven, in the fall when they're fed up on fallen apples and peaches... the taste is divine. People just don't know what they're missing with their tofu-tasting factory carcasses.
*Takes normal human mammal recipe book*
*Points to entire chapter on lamb, the children of fellow mammals.*
*Points to chapter on pork, the most humanlike mammal.*
*Doesn't even begin talking about veal.*
*Notes that as reptiles dragons are connected to both mammals and birds.*
I'll give up turkey the day you give up hamburgers.

O.o ..... But.... Draggy's not a Reptile..... I'm Warm blooded and Furry!
Awwww....... While i see your point, i may eat Mammals who are "Similar" in the regards that we're Both warm blooded.... still I don't eat other Dragon's....
And if you Truly would "Give up Turkey when i stop eating Hamburgers" then You're already Behind on That promise my friend!
As i was forced a year ago to give up Beef, Lamb, Sea food, Venison and a Multitude of other Nice things from my diet do to my Newly Discovered Blood disease. These things contain Far too much Iron, a substance i can No longer expell from my carcass. Thusly, i am restricted to Chicken, Turkey and pork..... Though Kiwi isn't off the menu either.....*Eye's the Highly Intelligent Kiwi closely while his muzzle Drool's uncontrollably.*

Careful now, we kiwi are warm blooded and furry. I hate to inform you of this but many dinosaurs were too. By the laws of evolution mammals are reptiles in the same way birds are dinosaurs, one came from the other.
Iron issues eh? Do they encourage you to donate blood? My old boss had a similar problem, red blood cells not being allowed to retire. Only treatment was regular bloodletting. (I'm sure Fangs could help with this.) Though he did apparently take a medication once that turned his blood green.

Really? Huh.... I didn't know Kiwi's were furry.... I thought they were Feathered flightless bird's.... Show's what i know. Though i have heard something about Dinosaurs are now Thought to be warm blooded.
Yes, I've got Hereditary Hemochromatosis or HH.
Yes, i have to follow a Strict low iron Diet and have Blood drawn once a month. I've heard of what your Boss has before... I just forget the name.
I keep asking Bunny to do it, but she says Dragon's Blood taste funny.

Kiwi are honorary mammals for our many furry traits: https://www.kiwisforkiwi.org/about-.....orary-mammals/
Certainly moreso than many dragons. With dinos an important thing is that anything so large is warm-blooded by default, the mere heat from digestion will be enough to heat a body that cannot sweat and is covered with thick skin.
Well damn, says here on the interwebs that your issue is absorbing too much iron. It's a rare thing when people are too GOOD at something.

WOW, Thank you for the link... That was Most Informative! I had No Idea about the Kiwi..... Though given their sheer size, i find it hard to believe that you can Feast on a Bird Nearly Ten Times your Size...
Well now That makes sense! See? That's why i enjoy our little Conversations.... Though they are Too few in my opinion, still you always manage to teach me something i did not previously know.
Draggy likes that!
Yes, unfortunately that is Correct. There are also Three different combinations of the DNA code that creates the disease, mine being the First/Most aggressive of the three. Not only do I Absorb Too much iron but my body can not rid itself of the supply that has or continues to take in resulting in Iron Overload which results in Organ Damage. My liver is damaged as a result, though fortunately the damage is minimal..... But i drink a lot of Cranberry juice and Green tea to try and counteract the iron's Effects. Cranberry juice helps to encapsulate and remove the Free iron from my blood. Green tea Helps to block the free iron from attaching itself to anything as well as helps to repair the brain tissue damage that is brought on by Iron Overload. A friend of the family recently died from this disease as they found out too late and the organ damage was too severe. She was only 45.

Ten times my size? The largest of us can be half a meter tall. It pays not to confuse the easily photographed chicks: https://natgeo.imgix.net/factsheets.....0&fit=crop with the more hefty adults: https://me.me/i/biggest-gaudiest-pa.....45167bda595cf9
Turkeys can be hefty things, I'll grant you that, but given a few days of leftovers they'll be consumed like the rest.
I was wondering about things like coffee and spinach which are surprisingly good iron binders. There are certain traditional plants here that can very heavily tax your iron intake if you enjoy them and can result in anemia. According to the wiki women often find out later in life because menstruation provides a buffer until menopause. Liver damage is a bitch, but I'm always hopeful about medical progress, if it's not gonna kill you right now you never can tell what treatments will emerge in future. I mean just look what happened with reactive arthritis.

OH MY, That's one Big Kiwi!!
I can see how a Turkey wouldn't be much of a Challenge now....
*Eye's the Kiwi carefully as not to be her Next meal*
Really? I drink coffee and eat spinach, but what are these other "Traditional plants" you speak of?
This is true that Most women are not diagnosed until late in life... Sometimes Too late i fear as our friend was. If you are or suspect you are of Nordic Decent i would Strongly advise getting checked for it. I've read that it is Most common in people who are of Nordic Decent. It's a simple Blood test like any other, but because it is considered so rare Most Doctors never check for it until unexplained health problems start to arise.
As an example, i was Suffering from Bad heart palpitations, shortness of breath and total exhaustion. The doctor thought i had heart issues and sent me to a specialist. They ran a Vast Number of test only to find out that my heart was fine. Then on a hunch, my doctor decided to do a blood test looking for this disease especially.
That's when they discovered my iron levels were at 898% Higher than they should have been and began treatment. It took Three months of having one pint of Blood drawn Every week before they got it back down to a "Normal" level. That's also when they discovered my liver was damaged and did a biopsy to prove it. That was a Very unpleasant experience! So since you're female, if you even suspect that you have Nordic Blood in you, go get it checked. I know New Zealand and all of that region is of Nordic territory so it would be wise my friend. The Sooner it is discovered, the less damage will occur and they can test and find it even if you don't show signs yet.
I agree that Modern Medicine is Advancing in great strides everyday, and perhaps in the not so distant future they Will find a way to untangle one's DNA and reverse or Remove this disease. One can only hope so...
However the future is uncertain my friend. This disease explains a lot of my troubles, like my depression and Suicidal thoughts as well as putting me at a near 100% chance of developing Dementia and Alzheimer's. It's rather grim to think about so I don't much.
But such is life my friend, and we must all play the hand we are delt.
I can see how a Turkey wouldn't be much of a Challenge now....

Big kiwi are seldom photographed, they're prone to kicking and scratching, so you usually see the cuter chicks.
The native plant that comes to mind most easily is 'puha' known elsewhere as 'sow thistles'. But the species is important, the 'smooth leaf' variety which is more domesticated doesn't bind iron too strongly and a meal of it could give you 10% of your daily intake. The more bitter variety however can actively remove iron from you, and especially cobalt. Given our low cobalt soil content this lead to 'bush sickness' in sheep and cattle that ate it. (https://teara.govt.nz/en/map/17533/.....eficient-areas ) Given the rise of vegetarianism this has caused an increasing number of anemia cases in people recently. (https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/he.....ntake-declines )
New Zealand, nordic?
*Snerk!*
Bwahahahahahaaaa!
It was a fight between the Dutch and British over who could kill the most natives, the British won. That's why we're part of the commonwealth and hold parades for their queen. We're as nordic as the prison colony to the west. I especially am half dutch thanks to immigrant grandparents. (The rest is a total mess, don't get me started.)
CRISPIR looks to have great potential. There's a lot of things we're pretty certain it can do, it's already made a designer baby in China, but less stupid applications should allow us to edit people's DNA as we like or at the least remove cells from the body, modify them then return them. I don't know how long it'll take to get things through the pipeline but in 20 years a vast swathe of genetic disorders could be eliminated at the molecular level. That'd be nice.
My own issues are infertility and parkinsons, with a few susceptibilities to cancer in there. Not much to be done about any of them but keep an eye out and wait and see.

Wow, Thank You Very Much! *Huggs*
I'll have to look for this though it said it's not too commercially sold.... Still, i know some places i might find it. Anything that will reduce the amount of iron my body stores is a Great Thing!
My World Geography is a bit off apparently.... Still, British were involved and They had a Run in with the Norsh so i wasn't Completely Off...... Kinda.
I'm part British, German, Irish and Native American myself so where i got this Nordic Gene is a Mystery to me....
I didn't know New Zealand was under British Rule..... Damn, draggy feels Dumb now. Damn British trying to Rule the world!!
Wow, That's Awesome! I haven't heard about the CRISPIR..... That's Amazing! Though im Certain some government will claim it first in an attempt to build the Ultimate Race or Ultimate soldier..... It never fails. In the the end the legacy of the Third Reich may come to pass after all.
Awwww...... May i ask about the Infertility? What's causing that?
Parkinson's is no fun either..... But I've heard they've found ways to treat it so that's promising.
Cancer is something that runs on my mother's side, she died of it as did several of her family members as well. So i have that gene as well. As for Children, I can't have any..... or more like I Won't. It's a 100% chance that if i fathered a child They Too will have this disease as will Any of Their offspring and so on and so on..... I cannot bear the idea of Condemning Generation after Generation with this curse.

Well I don't know what species you'll have over there, so be careful. I'm currently frying up some Poroporo, a very zesty tomato relative that grows a hardy bush with beautiful purple flowers. You eat them when orange (And ONLY orange!) and you're fine. It's found in Australia as 'kangaroo apple'. Only ONE fruit in this video is edible-ripe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL1YN4QIR6k
Now we also have Poroporotanguru (Lit 'crappy poroporo') which is a sister species known only here. Eat its ripe fruit and you get 6-12 hours of fine before the vicious cramps and maybe death sets in. (http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=2261 Notice at the bottom under 'poisonous plant' it notes that the ripe fruit lose MOST of their toxicity... but not nearly enough.) They're sister species that you tell apart by leaf shape and flower color.
So I should hate to say 'Oh I eat this all the time' only for you to get something nearly, but not quite the same and die. That would be... very unfortunate and Fangs would be jealous.
Interestingly my other half is half Maori, a third English, with Scottish, welsh, Irish and 1/64th native American. (And that's the nationalities we know, there's bound to be German in there at least and I mean come on, the English ARE German, from the Angles and Saxons, as well as French. That mixing only goes back 1'000 years or so.) I know my brother's DNA test indicated origins near Denmark, but I don't trust those because I know how they do them. There may not be that much breeding between us.
In general your best bet is to assume the British ruled it at some point. Most of the time you'll be right. Otherwise the British will have invaded and you can go 'Oh wait, I forgot you guys were never defeated.'
I don't think governments are going to make super soldiers, it's too inefficient. Sure you can boost muscle mass or reaction time, but we can do that chemically now and you'll notice that few countries are feeding their soldiers steroids. The human body, even when 'perfected' is just not a very good weapon. That's what we have guns for. If you're not editing existing soldiers (You'll want their co-operation else your super soldiers might turn anti-government.) then you'll have to wait 20 years for a crop of engineered babies.
The threat is killing machines, drone strikes and intelligent tanks. We can build and improve those NOW and turn war into a video game. Imagine a drone that could just fly by a village and kill everyone in it, man woman and child without a real person even having to know. THAT'S the threat.
A master race too would be quite stupid. On a racial level all you've really got is skin tone, so good luck trying to engineer anything meaningful there. For things like intelligence you're talking hundreds of genes, ASIDE from the environmental factors. (want your kid to be smart? Best thing you can do is be rich.) You wanna track down, figure out and edit 500 genes and hope nothing goes wrong? Well ok, but I'm not holding my breath for an artificial Einstein. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heritability_of_IQ ) Designer babies 'work' only in special, well-defined cases. You can sorta do eye and hair color (But even those can be quirky.) and knock out or add certain mutations for muscle mass or cancer risk, but right now we know very, very little about what does what genetically.
The third reich's legacy is idiocy divorced from science. It only works when you have people in the loop to be stupid enough. You can sit there with your blood purity tracing back your ancestors, you can pontificate on the obvious physical and mental differences of other groups with your phrenology kit in tow... but the instant you try to do any real science and find some objective genetic or molecular essence of bestness you'll find your ideas to be as solid as fog. (My favorite simple example is that a mixed race couple's children are never white, by most definitions, no matter how many of their ancestors are and what genetic percentage they'd be.)
Your ailment is perfect for CRISPIR, a known gene sequence with a known correct version. (Though it seems that there are complexities there too.) Things like that, or cystic fibrosis, good targets. Failing organs might be replaceable with lab-grown implants too, and cancers can be treated, when they appear, with modified immune cells. But the big ones, heart disease, diabetes, GETTING cancer... aging... those are big and complex things. They're a flood of ill that needs a flood of good to counteract, slowly improving pills and treatments that target the symptoms.
The infertility is due to ovarian cysts which also play hob with my cycle. Which is more of an approximate sort of mishmash. After initial issues I got put on birth control just to avoid the unpredictability. (Though I hear in your country pills that block that time of the month are illegal.) It's not necessarily 100%, but I'd likely need IVF and I'm just not that motivated. If the need hits I'll adopt.
My mom's sister has Parkinson's quite bad and it's on mom's side, along with a few other issues. (Cancer is on dad's.) It's hard to tell without tests (And even with) what sort of risk I have so we'll just see how that pans out. I'm hopeful that my youth will tide me along until treatments improve. I've lived long enough as it is to see some.
I'm curious, you're double recessive, yes? So your children will be at most single recessive, which Wikipedia says is usually presenting as normal, and their children will have a 50-50 chance of being single recessive, right? Or is your situation different? The only thing I've heard of that's 100% guaranteed to spread to all children is a gene drive.

That's a Great Question! Honestly i don't know. I'm just going by what the doctor told me. They said in my case if i had Children, they would Automatically get this disease and pass it on to there own.
As I understand it, there are Three forms or Gene Combinations that create this disease each with Varying levels of concern. I have the rarest Most Aggressive form. At least that is how it was explained to me.
I'm so sorry about the Ovarian cyst.... My nice has the same issue, however she did get pregnant and have Two kid's before they had to be removed as they had become cancerous.
Adoption is a Great idea and there are Plenty of little Hellions.... I mean Children out there who need a good home!
I fully agree about the Third Reich and Super human things you've mentioned, however you know how the government's are. And while a machine is Most efficient, you've left out one of the greatest reasons for war, Population Control. Yes, in the beginning you may have the upper hand, but when machine starts fighting machine, then what?
LOL!! Do you really think Fangs would be Jealous if you encouraged me to eat something Poisonous? That's actually an interesting thought....

It does sound curious. Aggressiveness aside the worst you can have is two copies of an affected gene. (xx) I'm assuming both your parents are 'carriers' of it (Xx) with the ailment 'masked' by their healthy copy. That'd give them a 25:50:25 spread of normal, masked and double kids (XX, Xx, xx.), do you have any siblings? How are they?
So your children would be the same, they'd be like your parents and carry it, but Wikipedia says they wouldn't really have many symptoms themselves. https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/art/large/a.....recessive.jpeg
Unless you have type 4, which is a dominant type. But even then unless you pair with a fellow sufferer 25% of your kids would be fine. (For single-dominant it'd be 50%.) But then I might be mistaken, the resources I have here are largely based off British sources, so I don't know how their types match up with the American scheme.
Yeah, cysts are... well they're one of the many things that aren't guaranteed to go bad but do tilt the odds away from your favor. I did a bit of nursing once and you'd be amazed how many things there are out there that are 'Well that's not good but poking around would be worse.' Most people have thyroid cancer for example, or at least non-malignant lumps. Hardly any progress. Tonsillectomies are almost worthless and even appendix removal is far less black and white than you'd think.
I know how governments are, and they're stupid and lazy and populist. The biggest obstacle is 'purity'; any government will have a very hard time indeed persueding their people that superhumans aren't weird alien freaks. They have a hard enough time getting them to vaccinate. Ad that'll take 20 years from babies, few governments are stable and unchanging that long.
The bigger threat is discrimination. There you don't have to build =, only tear down. People don't want to hear 'We will improve your babies with super-genes.' nearly as much as they do 'This test proves your purity and superiority, now have all the good jobs.'. Governments already divide people into nationalities and races in censuses. And heaven knows insurance agents would like our genomes. But even there you need human stupidity. Imagine some far-right government taking over America (Insert Trump joke here.) and trying to judge everyone based on genetics. You know what you'll get? A LOT of people who turn out to be 10% black. When you look at the trouble the Nazis had in hiding the Jewish parentage or grandparentage of their own you'll see only a faint shadow of what awaits any really objective attempt to split the populace. In the end all that really suffices is the classic 'Put the people who look different in there' approach, and that's never needed science and has had to flee from it.
When machine fights machine there's little people can add. When gun fights gun you don't call in people throwing rocks as a tie-breaker. It's only going to be an issue with big wars where you fight an equally powerful and advanced enemy, at that point the big risk is nuclear bombs. You might try a proxy war, two countries sending things into a third to fight for control of it, but machine-on-machine does that just fine too. American soldiers were superior to Syrian ones in terms of health and equipment, but they sure as hell weren't sent into the cities. Why? Because no matter what you do you can't breed or build a bulletproof human. Vaccines, body armor and weapons make a soldier better, far moreso than even the most fanciful genetics.
She'd be jealous if you died and I got your delicious soul juice.
Now, as it turns out there's a SECOND plant known as poroporo, one I didn't know about. It's a relative of deadly nightshade and its berries are toxic when unripe too. Here's a younger Fangs spending an hour talking about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvTW5qioHpU (You'll get a good idea of our accent from this and some of the culture.) So one name covers FOUR species, two pairs of totally unrelated things. One you eat only ripe berries, one you eat the leaves and everything else of everything else is deadly toxic. That's eating native plants for you, it's amazing any of our ancestors survived.

Actually Everyone Carry's One of the three or four Gene's. It's only when there's a Matching of chromosome "A" with chromosome "B" that this situation occurres. As the Two match up it creates the deficiency in one's DNA.
No, no Siblings..... Like my mother always said she only made One mistake in her life.
Huh, according to the doctors they would have a direct copy of my DNA and thereby ave the same disease i have.... Maybe they didn't read enough about it on Wikipedia?
Wow, i had no idea so many things were intentionally ignored.
I didn't know you had Nursing Experience either.... "So like i have this Funny Lump in a Wierd place..... "
I bet you get a lot of that... Though it is Good to know that you understand Better than Most what this Disease is and other workings of a person's health.
Great Point about government and Social politics! True, the whole "Purity" thing Really ran it's course with the end of monarchy's. I mean you can only Inbreed so much before you end up with Kings and Queens Sporting Third Arm's and the likes!
Still, as you say Purity is an Illusion which just Further confuses me about all of the Hate Group's who choose to march around touting about how They're somehow Superior to everyone else.
I've always thought it rather funny how Hitler created the Nazi regime
Based on the idea of Purity Claiming the Only Perfect race was Blond hair and Blue eyed, while He Himself had Black hair, Brown eyes and his own mother was Jewish! Truly the living Definition of hypocritical.
True.... If she even noticed..... But then What would become of You?
If she decided to take revenge.... Then what? As strong as you might be, I'm not so Certain you could take on an Enraged Vampire Bunny!
Wow Interesting! I find your Accent Very interesting as well.....sort of an Australian / English pronunciation of words.....Very Cool!
Yeah, I wonder how many people died before they figured out the Right combination of what you Could and Could Not eat without being poisoned. Actually I've often wondered that about Many things ......... You do have Natives there correct?
Perhaps they played an instrumental part in obtaining this knowledge?

Yes, we both carry two copies of (nearly) every gene; one from your mother and one from your father. Humans have 46 chromosomes, 23 pairs. (Hence the company 23 And Me.) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ploidy )
In the case of a DOMINANT condition you only need one affected gene to have the condition, the 'dominant' gene overrules the other copy. Dark hair ad eyes are like this since the 'blond\blue' genes do nothing but the 'brown' genes will make pigment, usually enough for two genes.
In the case of a RECESSIVE condition you need TWO copies of the affected gene. This is usually the case if the affected gene DOESN'T do something, like color hair or regulate iron. In that case both your parents usually need to be 'carriers' with one copy each that they pass onto the offspring.
This is my confusion. You CAN'T have a dominant condition or one of your parents would have it too. And even then it'd be 50-50 whether your children got it. So it must be recessive, which is the usual type according to Wikipedia. If THAT'S the case your children would be mostly healthy carriers unless you partnered with someone who also carried the gene.
There's just no way to be 100% sure your children will have your condition. An exact copy of your DNA is what we call a 'clone' and I don't think that's happening anytime soon. My best guess is that they meant your children would be carriers, with one regular and one affected gene. They should be as healthy as your parents are then, though THEIR offspring could have issues if they partnered with a fellow carrier. (Which is why incest is bad.) It's strange.
There's a balance between taking action and the cost of that action. Everything you do has risks and the question is never 'Is this safe?' or 'Will this save lives?' but 'Is this SAFER? Will it save MORE lives?' American healthcare is notably more expensive than elsewhere with no improved results partly because a lot of pointless tests are done. The classic case is sending someone home with antibiotics when thy have a (viral) cold; it costs but does nothing. Surprisingly often things will get better (Or at least no worse) on their own. There's usually a hidden story there.
Like cancer; people tend to assume that once one tiny 'cancer thing' goes wrong life-threatening cancer is the inevitable result. They're wrong; your body battles cancer every day, stopping around 2'000 at the single-cell stage. Sunburn? That's not just radiation damage; tht's your damaged skin cells deliberately shutting down and dying before they turn cancerous. Each of your cells has about a dozen 'cancer alarms' in it that will trigger if they're damaged. Each of these has to be knocked out before a cell can even start going cancerous. This is why childhood cancer is so rare, usually most of their alarms are working.
And when you DO get a cancer cell you have a whole part of your immune system dedicated to finding them. 'Killer T cells' patrol the body looking for anything that isn't you, isn't normal. Virus infestation, cancer, parasites... these cells finish off far more than 99% of any cancers; cancer has to 'hide' from your immune system. This is why miracle recoveries happen so often in cancer; sometimes your immune system wakes up, spots the cancer and destroys it in days. (It's also why a promising treatment for cancer is to remove immune cells, smoosh them together with the cancer cells to go 'Look you idiots, this is a BAD THING' then reinject them into you.https://www.iflscience.com/health-a.....ttack-cancers/ ) Sometimes this goes wrong and you get 'autoimmune' disorders where healthy cells are attacked, but that's the price you pay for anti-cancer precautions.
So a lot of tumors end up 'benign'; they've grown big enough that the body has noticed them. They're tricky enough not to be destroyed, but they can't grow any larger. There's a risk that one day they'll figure out how to spread but there's also risks to cutting someone open and blasting them with radiation or chemicals. Depending on the situation it can be best to operate or simply monitor.
I do get a lot of funny lump stories. Odd moles, warts, skin tags and these interesting red, almost birthmark-like spots of blood vessels people tend to get at they get older. A wart plaster or burning kit will deal with most pretty quickly. The annoying things are the 'I just feel so tired...' That's life hon, nearly everyone feels that. It's what the supplement industry is built on.
Inbred monarchy is what got so many royals in Europe suffering from hemophilia, a recessive condition. If they'd outbred all they would have had was carriers, but the inbreeding caused far more sufferers. But hoo boy, the Habsburgs... they inbred until the last heir was infertile. LOOK at this guy, that was his actual FACE: https://allthatsinteresting.com/habsburg-jaw
As for hate groups; you'll often hear people talk as if humans find lies attractive and the truth abhorrent. (A lie can be halfway around the world...') This is not true; people love an ATTRACTIVE idea, true or not. The actual sense of race and purity don't matter so long as they make people feel good about themselves. The attraction to purity is so... amusingly strong that many have been turned from their course simply by finding out their genetic heritage. I mean you'd think they could go 'It's only 5%' or 'True I am not perfect, but I'm better than most' but nope! It's 100% pure or out the door!
Of course that's moot in Hitler's case since he was an unqualified nutjob. Sometimes I wonder if time travelers didn't arrange it so he lead WWII because literally anyone else would have had more sense. Declaring war on Russia? Chasing down mystic artifacts? Believing the Earth was hollow? Not letting people wake him up, even if a vital battle was going horribly wrong? It's amazing he could put his own pants on.
We are old foes she and I, our battle rages eternal. Such hatred is a poem written in emotion, a flame that will not be extinguished so easily as by mere 'death'. Certainly now and again advantage may be found, a banishing tot he dark realms, and infecting with ebola. But sooner or later balance restores itself and our fight resumes.
In my experience such knowledge is obtained by people being so starving that they have no choice but to eat dirt. There is in fact a guide to finding out if you can eat almost any plant: https://www.primalsurvivor.net/how-.....s-safe-to-eat/ and most peoples had a long time to randomly test things and try them out. People in my country were low enough on protein that cannibalism was a thing. That's a great motivator to find more foodstuffs.
I am in fact about one quarter native; Maori have the highest intermarriage rate of any group in the world. This means that though driven to near-extinction they have bounded back and fill this country to the point that it's amusing to see outside portrayals of them. About 10 years ago there was a lavishly illustrated book released called 'Last Chance To See' that had pictures of various threatened cultural groups in their traditional clothing. There was a page for Maori, in flax skirts in the middle of a rainforest (Yes we have rainforest.) From the book you'd think they were a dying forest people, hiding from modern civilization, when I could count three families on my street all living in perfectly modern houses.
