The last time I'd met Rob Paulsen was back in the 1990s, when he appeared at the Warner Bros. Studio Store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was there to promote the "Animaniacs" spin-off series "Pinky and the Brain" on the fledging Kids WB. (Since then, both the chain of stores and Kids WB have fallen to the wayside.)
Naturally, to help him promote the show, Rob - who plays 'Pinky' - brought along his vocal co-star, comedian/impressionist Maurice LaMarche - the voice of 'The Brain'. (In addition to that role, LaMarche was a vocal regular on such animated fare as "The Real Ghostbusters", "The Critic" and "Futurama".)
Well, it's been over a decade since we'd met, and I was pleased to learn that Mr. LaMarche was accompanying Mr. Paulsen again - this time for the "Animation Supercon" in Miami. So, as I continue my photo-op series, here I am with Mr. LaMarche - posing with a life-sized(?) statuette of 'The Brain'... YE-E-E-E-ES!!
