Anyways, I'm so glad that more and more people are getting to know more about the Tatsunoko characters with the upcoming release of Capcom Vs Tatsunoko (Which I will try my best to get). I actually didn't knew about the series until I discovered the latest series episode clips where it apparently had Obama and Hillary as kids. My god it was so funny seeing something US related topic in a Japanese anime.
Also, do you know where I can watch any of the series? Either it be online or something?

I watched them a long time ago, so I'm afraid I've only seen the "old" ones. I think the last one I saw was some of Ippatsuman. There was an Itadakiman, some OVA's, and a remake after that, I think. I'm pretty sure the remake aired last year.
Those are crazy hilarious shows, tho'. They're the kind of show your typical U.S. anime fan will be like "What's that...?" when you mention 'em, but every Japanese person my age and younger will know, I'm sure! You know, kinda like all the tokusatsu stuff like Robot Keiji K and Sun Vulcan and stuff.
But like I said I haven't seen the new ones :( I haven't really watched cartoons in a while, you know? I think if I found a boxed set of Yattodetaman or Yatterman I'd probably scoop it up, like Ashita no Joe or something.
Anyway, I'm afraid I dunno where to get 'em at because I'm too old for this here torrenting and stuff and it's all kinda a mystery to me. And sorry for putting up a huge wall of text, heh =)

I first watched the 1977 Yatterman when it aired here in Italy in the eighties, I was just a little kid back then. My interest in the series suddenly came back to me this year, also thanks to the 2008 remake, the 2009 live action movie and the fact Yatterman and Doronjo are playable characters in Tatsunoko VS Capcom for the Wii. Got interested late in the other Time Bokan, and to be honest I am sad they're not so well known worldwide :C they've got so much potential.
In my country you can find dubbed DVDs for Yatterman, Otasukeman and Yattodetaman for pretty cheap, but everything else is virtually impossibly to find. I did look into importing other series DVDs from Japan but... ouch. 1000 dollars for a DVD box set for just one series: NO :C
Aaaand, don't worry for your wall of text. As you can see I'm no different - just excited every time I meet someone that actually KNOWS what Time Bokan Series is!

Yeah, I thought you might be Italian because of your user name!
Ho studiato italiano, ma disgraziatamente l'ho dimenticato tutto. Che vergogna....
Anyway, there are lots of great classic Japanese animated series that were shown in Italy, aren't there? Like, Devilman, for instance. Never shown in the U.S.
You're right, DVD's from Japan are insanely expensive. I mean, I remember looking into buying a movie direct from Japan maybe five years or so ago and it was $80. That's about 4 times what a normal movie costs in the U.S.
And I think everyone started with Yatterman. Somehow, people all over the plae started paying attention to it. Maybe it's because it was shown in Italy, and maybe the Philippines and places like that, too?
Whatever the case, it's a really fun series! The "bad guys" are always the funniest, best characters. Especially Boyakki / Gurakki / whatever. He's the best!

Don't worry, I studied French for 3 years and I used to be good at it... now I can barely remember how to say "Bonjour"!
And yes, we got a lot of classic animation in the past years. Many things were never shown in the USA, or if they were, the were heavily censored. Most of them became a real cult here in Italy for people born in the 70's/80's !
In these latest years though, we're mainly buying anime directly from the USA, so the market's not as good as it used to be. Ah, I feel so nostalgic, now!
I know for sure Yatterman was shown here and in Poland, using our adaption. I'm not sure about other countries, but I seem to recall it being shown in some South-East Asian countries.
And yes! Most of the heroes are usually quite boring and the evil trios are the real stars of the show. Did you know that the original voice actors of the trio STILL gave voice to the Doronbos in the 2008 Yatterman anime, after 30+ years from the original series? Those guys are awesome!
