Sorry to everyone for not being very active of late. I'm not really sure what it is, but these last few weeks I've just felt really burnt out. Either as a result of sleep deprivation, seasonal effectiveness disorder, or just plain hitting some kind of funk. Can't seem to get anything to go right, not in my drawings, writings, or any other stuff. Hell, not even this piece here came out like I wanted it! >:c
Anyhow, no, not going to get all emo on y'all. Rest assured, that's about as close as I'm going to get. This is just my kind of way of giving y'all a heads up that I'm going to be stepping away from all this and taking a little break, try to relax and take it easy for the next... maybe week.
Still gonna be poking in around here during that time, though, so don't feel shy about any communication and/or harassment. You know how much I love that. :D

I think my problem has moreso to do with an accumulated lack of sleep, rather than a sudden urge for excess. For years now, I've kinda gotten used to not getting the prerequisite 8 hours of sleep, and yet still doing fine. (Hey, why not? Martha Stewart does it.) Now, though, it might be that my body is finally telling me "Get the FUCK in bed and don't come out until I say so, or a nervous breakdown is just around the corner." (Again, just like Martha!)

There are some herbal "remedies" that can help with sleep - some people swear by them. I've been trying some but no real effect for me, so I suspect probably more placebo effect on many.

Well, gee, just knowing that eyeball rapery is just sitting around the corner is SURE to help with mien sleep cycle. xD
Actually, lately I've been investing in good ol' fashioned Tea. Or, alternatively, warm milk. Good for some last minutes socialization, and it seems to relax you a little.
Eh... it'll have to do until I get rich enough to go doctor shopping and gobble down some prescription sleeping pills every night.

bullocks! Sleep deprivation doesn't inhibit words! Why, I've had four hours of sleep and I feel I'm really getting my creative juices flowing!
...I convinced someone I was pissed by going on about the woe I was supposedly facing according to them. Oh, but I MUST have been crying, so I took out my tiniest violin as I weeped, writing balads of untying shoes and the woes of the transit system.
I don't know why I'm writing this, BUT HEY! All jokes aside, you cheer up! A nice catnap and/or a beer or ten and hopefully you'll feel all better! Here's hoping for the best!

Two weeks later, despite having been deprived of FA for one of them... YEAH! Feeling much better now, in no less part thanks to your lovely little story. (Guess sleep deprivation works differently for different people... in my case, I can still write... I just start using made up words like agohophibic and Druchin, :P)
