Hubert is a Psychemon, and very competitive with his Gabumon cousin Gavin. The two of them are always competing over even the most trivial things, eager to prove which of them is the superior Mon and prove that they're not just palette swaps of each other. Compared to Gavin, Hubert is more musically inclined and enjoys carpentry, but they both share a love of cooking and work as apprentices at the same restaurant -- where their boss / mentor has to constantly put up with their competitive natures.
