Finally got this finished after 10 and a half hours... oof. >>;

Anyone else remember that first animated special episode they made for the PMD games, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate? It's a shame it was only one episode and the writing and dub were pretty janky, I bet if it had more time to find its footing it could have been a pretty good show.
But in any case, here's my take on how the fugitive arc might have been looked in the show's universe.

To be fair he does think he's the bad human from the Ninetails Legend, and right now there's no way to disprove it, and also the town just mobbed him and his friends. It's been a rough 12 hours for the poor guy.

It really is. :/ I would've loved to see a PMD tv series. Give it some time to find its footing, and a better crew to dub it... I mean, it's already got a much more interesting story than the main series, methinks.
I still say those 'To Be Continued' at the end of the specials were among the most heinous lies of our generation. lol
