Melanie m a y have been an accident. It was kind of a jarring moment for Charlie, who realized that after nine months of not being able to fight at all, maybe it would be better to pursue careers that didn't involve her getting the crap beaten out of her.
Fucking babies, man.
I've had to scale Charlie's time in GBA forward a bit, explicitly because I'm bad at math. Before, she and Aidan went to GBA in the mid eighties, but in order for her age to make sense, I had to bump it up so she graduated in the mid nineties. I like to think she was big into grunge.
And yeah, Mel knows Aidan moonlights as Lady Mysteria.
