Back to my dreamscape Andur again! Only Jedel can make incinerating lawn clippings look like something from the swimsuit edition of "Night on Bald Mountain". While she does not grow horns when she unveils her demonic side she does grow great big bat wings and get really big hair all of the sudden! Also her eyes start glowing red and her voice drops a couple octaves, but as soon as she is done casting spells it is back to usually bubbly self again!
If you're wondering whether words she is speaking are specific to certain spell they aren't. She'll just saying whatever comes to mind as she forms the spell in her mind and channels the energy in the direction she wants. Next time she does this she might say something completely different. It is one of the things that makes other mages in Andur pull their hair out, if they have any, when dealing with her. Most mages must carefully go through exact annunciations to make spells work at all. Here you have a girl who is often just parroting some Japanese she heard from some anime series!
In his villa
Tom_Clowder http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2978566/ hires many of the fennecs who've settled in Andur. Jedel is rather fond of them since they are very non-judgmental and just accept for what who she is. They don't seem to bothered by sprouting wings, glowing eyes and making things blow up! She does not threatened them so they see no problem. Simple as that.

Oh dear, I just had a disturbing thought. Would Jedel be one of those demons who might be at risk of attack by the Shamaness?
Yes and no. Yes the Shamaness would love to have her under her thumb, so to speak, and doing her bidding until useful had passed, but Jedel might be one of the few people in the mortal plane who might have a chance against her. The problem is that Jedel is generally a good person who doesn't like hurting others unless necessary. It is uncertain how well she'd deal with someone as nihilistic and sociopathic as her.
Some people work really, really hard to get to a high level of skill, and some people make it look as easy as a walk in the park. And considering that magic is one of those fields with a very slim margin of error, no wonder the other mages of Andur would be miffed with her.
I can see her still having the deep, scary demonic voice when she cheerfully says "Taadaa!" at the end, though.
