Feel free to ignore this Its like 2 am as I'm posting this so Im just ranting a bit
The character in question remains nameless as of now.

Haven't had a chance to make or post images/info about the sub races of Verrons or any of the other races on my planet but once I have those together then I'll post more concept things like this
Olden verrons are much older and had not evolved much unlike Vaseris Verrons or as drastically as Mountain Verrons
They are far more reptilian, somewhat larger, and don't have fur on the ends of their tails.
It seems that depending on the sub race, the verron genes are either very dominant or very recessive

Cave dwellers are an elf like race (ok basically dark elves but not inherently evil. bear with me) that inhabit the crystal growing cave systems on the main continent of the planet. Despite living in caves exclusively, they retain their eye sight due to the luminous crystals that grow beneath the surface. The cave dwellers have crystal "crowns" growing from their skulls as well as patches of crystals on their shoulders, neck, and face. Over time these growths get bigger and longer, sometimes growing over the eyes and into the brain if given enough time.

It seems that in this case, Olden Verron genes are more recessive than Vaseris verrons so the blend of Olden dna and Cave Elf dna made something less lizard like but still retaining the basic body shape for the most part.
