I was assigned for my last Electro-Acoustic Composition course to combine video with a minimalist piece of my creation a la Steve Reich and his own adventures and experiences in African music. This was an attempt by me to contribute to that philosophy with four minutes of contrasting 6/4 and 6/8 polyrhythm and various repetitive techniques. This mix is completely sampled and features a line of Angola chant: "Wa lenga, wa jantala." It means "Whoever runs can get a dinner." There is dark history behind this, and this is an attempt to bring the phrase back to a more literal meaning in respect of all Africans who've had to endure otherwise.

I LOVE IT!!!! *hugs* Thanks for finally giving me a song. :3
You say it's 6/4 and 6/8 time? I noticed a time signature change, and I though it started in 4/4 and then went to 3/4 and then back to 4/4. I'm going to listen again...
I can count 4/4 time for 50 or 51 measures and then it changes. I'm now counting 6/4 time, which would equal 3/2 in the middle. At the end, though, I was counting 3/4 which would be the same as 6/8. Listens a 3rd time...
OK, I"m now getting the 3/4 or 6/8 at the beginning, too. I guess I can hear a time change in the middle, but I can't distinguish 6/4 and 6/8 when counting. So, 6/8 at the beginning and the end and 6/4 in the middle? Or is the the other way around? *sighs, gives up counting, and just enjoys the music.
Is that your voice? It sounds good. It isn't recognizable, though. Tell me about the background behind that phrase. I'm interested.
I can't wait until it's finished! :3
