School has been brutal lately, so I haven’t had time for much, but I do have this old picture of basically my favorite OC I have ever created, and since he plays a pretty important part in my next story which is almost done, I decided to finally show him to the world.

Meet Tad Beaks! (yes, I named him after Tad Stones… don’t judge me)

Age: 48

Species: Macaw

Height: Shortie (like an inch shorter than Mark)

Orientation: Bisexual butterfly

In case you can’t guess this is Mark’s daddy. He likes all your typical dude stuff (cars, beer, sports, etc.) but was also a stay at home dad and primary caregiver for Mark. Very handy-man type of guy who grew up on a farm and very much prefers that sort of lifestyle. Buff cinnamon roll who is super shy and quiet. Basically he’s the definition of non-toxic masculinity. He is a total mother hen who is almost single-handedly responsible for turning Mark into a spoiled brat, and he will defend just about anything his son does to the point of self-delusion (he’s just really proud of his little psycho, ok?). It’s extremely rare for him to actually get mad, but when he does it’s probably because he feels like Mark is being threatened in some way.

Just for the record, I don’t care if Disney gives Mark a canon backstory, I’ll probably just reject it entirely. Fanon is way more fun.
