Here is where I realized I made a mistake. I had taped in a foam dam on each side of where I would pour the rood, but when I spread the Smooth-It, it spilled over the foam dam onto the textured ground I had already created. In the end, it was easy to fix. I just scraped the excess Smooth-It and then painted over it again and reapplied texture.
