Seeing that the river looked too smooth, I poured a second layer of the Resin with a bit more hardener. It usually should be two parts resin and one part hardener, but I did a one-to-one ratio to make it set a bit more quickly. I then used a paint brush to swirl in some ripples and applied a white water foam dye to add highlights to make it a more turbulent river.

I also cleaned up around the edge for the road and poured a more diluted mixture of Smooth-It to fill in some of the holes in the road and smooth it out. The remaining Smooth-It blemishes on the sides of the road will be covered up with a gravel shoulder.
