A Skyrim inspired art piece I did last year, 2017. As a writer I love to do concepts of my characters in situations that tell so much story in the most subtle ways. I also like to challenge myself to convey story in multiple mediums to expand my hand. In this art piece I chose light and shadow as the way of telling a story.

Here, in this piece I took a snap shot of Falkreathe forest from google and integrated my 2 main characters into the environment.
As well as conveying story it was a little practice on shading with colour and gradients instead of cross hatching. I wanted to see how well I could make the character seem as if they were apart of the art piece through colour and not just two figures slapped onto a canvas with a random background. Its like been given 3 different mediums to make an art piece and have to make it work as much as possible.
I also experimented on my ability to colour grab from the original Skyrim screen shot I took from my own game.
