Excitement is what being young is all about! And making mistakes. And hopefully learning from those mistakes. Hopefully.
PoL's a one-woman show, and authoring, drawing, scanning, lettering, coloring, and love all take time, time that I don't necessarily want to spend on it after a long day at work. BUT, I do plan on updating twice a week after the end of this episode and the fanworks extravaganza following immediately after.

Keda's gone beserk! He's knocking griffin's around left and right now!
Also, is Nickles daddy's actual son? I thought the whole daddy thing was more of a title, like 'don'.
And now Keda is probably going to have to fight daddy himself. Well, I'll be rooting for Keda, but I do have to say I like daddy. He is always so funny in those fanmail sections! And he kind of reminds me of a giant budgie, it's his nose.

Yup, 'Daddy' = 'Don' or 'Godfather'. Valdez has no biological children. It's also worth noting that he cares for each of his underlings to varying degrees, and becomes genuinely upset when someone (other than himself) knocks his boys around (particularly if one of them is his underboss). I guess that just makes him just a little possessive?
Another interesting note: His parents were gryphons of a macaw and kakapo base, so I guess that would make him a macawkapo gryphon.

Kakapo? Aaah, that would explain the nose. Kakapo's actually also kind of remind me of budgies, giant flightless ones. (I know they are parrots though.) It'd also explain the flightlessness.
Interesting though that Valdez cares about his underlings, I wouldn't have guessed that till know, considering he has little qualms beating the snot out of them, or even killing them. Guess he sees that as something only he may do then, eh?
