A piece for digital illustration, the final of the thumbs I posted earlier (in my scraps). The assignment was open ended, basically we started with several thumbs/color studies and used that to go to final. We could paint whatever we wanted to add to our portfolio, we just had to save each stage of the painting to present to the class later. I ended up going with this thumb because I've never tried doing a piece with an odd warped ground, and it seemed to do the best job at giving the ghostly feel that I was going for. Plus, it's fun being able to concentrate on the shapes in a piece :D Again, inspired by Viva La Vida by Coldplay (the CD in general, not just one song).
