I've been working on my style so hard recently, and i'm so happy that people notice ;w; Thank you so much!
And choosing colours is something i struggle a lot with actually. I do a lot of after effects for that, like filters, extra layers, anything, until it looks good.
But i've been practicing lately. Idk how it's called, but that technique where you choose weird colours to shade and give texture to a drawing is a pretty good exercise. Like the character in this drawing https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30804037/
By experimenting like this you'll slowly learn which colours affect the drawing in a certain way.
But tbh, this technique took my quite a while as well to look good xD
