Well hello there, ladies and gentledergs! For a good while now, I've been hinting on various obscure corners that my persona can shift between different forms. Generally, these include anthro, naga, and feral forms- and possibly many others, depending on what form is the most comfortable to take among those shi happens to be mingling with. I've been hanging with a lot- and I do mean a lot- of dragons, and a lot of them prefer being quadrupeds as opposed to bipeds. So to visualize a form they're more comfortable with, I've been working on and off on this ref ever since Spring Break, and am quite pleased with how well it's managed to come out! Featuring a color palette, a sagittal view, an anterior view, and a headshot with breath weapon showcase, this ref has a lot of the same displays as those featured in my anthro reference sheet. I hope this form's aesthetics please you!

With regards to the canon behind Doc's shapeshifting, this ability can be used freely due to the completely malleable nature of the mental energy comprising hir manifestations. However, changing the size of the form will cause the mass-energy comprising the form to increase logarithmically with size. That is to say, if the Doctor's base anthro form takes up 2 cubic meters, then expanding that to a feral form which takes up 20 cubic meters, then the amount of Joules of energy in the new form would be J*(1+log(10)) = 2J, where 20 cubic meters is larger than 2 cubic meters in a 10:1 ratio. Thus, in spite of having a form with ten times the original volume, the Doctor's mass-energy is only double that of hir anthro form. This loss of power density comes from spreading out hir control over a wider area rather than concentrating it into a finer point in reality, which makes larger forms like hir feral form ideal for blunt or widespread manipulation, but not for precise or surgical manipulation. This can best be observed in the signature weapons wielded by either form- when an Avatar of the Doctor's mass-energy is still measured in gigatons of TNT, the anthro form's swordcane is capable of splitting atoms in two, while the feral form's breath weapon smashes them together. Both play a unique kind of havoc on their targets, even on the femtoscopic scale.
