Once again back to my monthly patreon rewards which i'm using to fill my lengthy project to depict all the weird races in my setting. This time? A spellweaver!
Spellweavers are among the most underused D&D races, and thus i'm hi-jacking them, because they're a great concept. An 8-handed... thing... that looks like a mix of a worm and a bug? Sign-Me-In! Love them. Nobody uses them!
People might ask... "Why should a spellweaver do mundane gardening instead of conjuring all sorts of magic to do it?"
To which i respond: Hey! Respect people's hobbies! Dammit! Plus! For all you know this could be some religious ritual! Have i shamed you enough for such a question? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 👍
Just kidding. I'm eeeeevil.
The idea for this commission was that while Spellweavers might be gifted for magic... not every single one of them *needs* or *wants* want to be a spellcaster. After all humans have evolved for long distance travel by foot... and aside from a few marathon athletes... i don't see many people doing that.
So have a spellwaver gardener. 😉👍

But... if she did that she could not sell the produce as organic whole food!
...
I mean...
i never understood why anybody wants to buy whole food sliced watermelon...
or organic salt...
buuut... people ask that stuff and she has to satisfy the market.
It's just soooo hard to do stuff like that without spells.
Luckily she's got a degree in both multidimensional produce (most of the work to get that is to unlearn the axiom of choice) and alternate reality continuum plants.
