Hehe been excited to show this one off! Oh boy this is great!
So this marine is no doubt the most difficult to paint so far in my little project of fun! :) I have for many years actually wanted to do up a quarter scheme paint job and I have had a tiny bit of a soft spot for the Novamarines personally. After doing a Babad war campaign at my local games workshop before they were one of my personal choices to play but never could. I loved the special character with his sweet relic Storm Bolter and Chain Fist so I just had to do this guy to make up for never playing with them before and doing some kit bashing with some help and inspiration from a certain fellow hobbyist who watches me, you know who ya are, I got this wicked pose and look.
Anyway please enjoy my latest of models

So, are you getting the Golden Demon award now or later..? ;P
As others have said, the precise and perfect division of the colours along with your usual talent for crisp details have really brought this model out as evidence to showcase your talent as a model painter. The detail of the shield is super impressive and the highlights are sublime.
As for this hobbyist who gave you the inspiration, you'll have to introduce me sometime.. ;D
On a side note, I've always wondered if adding a terminator fist would look like a little too much.. however with the scale of the Primaris it looks about right, I may have to pinch this idea...

oh oh my I don’t know if I’m good enough for one of those, I get little golden goblins from painting contests at my local but never something as grand as that.
I would enjoy showing them all to you one day though I do not believe you live close enough to make that anytime soon but maybe one day :) I would be honoured
Funny enough this isn’t a normal terminator chainfist, it is a deathwing terminator powerfist with the chainfist upgrade part from a tartaros(sp) terminators kit attached to it making that was the easy part, the hard is shaving all the excess plastic off the shoulder guard to make a regular shoulder guard fit on it. But please if ya wish to use it go ahead :) I borrowed from you seems fair
