Okay, gather around my furry friends, I have a story to tell about one of my favorite furry artists EVER, Soraawoolf.

First off, Sora was the first fellow I had ever gotten a serious commission from, aaaaall those many years ago.
Before I even knew how much of a big ol' furry I was, Sora was the first person to ever bring my characters to life, and did such a great job all these times.
I know how much he loved Kingdom Hearts, and with how much I love his art, I figure we could mash those two together for this latest piece.

This here was the initial pose I had given him, a nice cute little one to show off the butt~ (NSFW version on his page, go check that out).
But to fit the Kingdom Hearts theme, I thought "why not draw him with a keyblade?"
That sly fox Sora read my mind and sent me an update with an alternate pose he came up with, and sure enough there's my Kavie boi, wielding a keyblade like a true Keyblade Mastah!
Sora sends me updates of this new pose, we collaborate, and I even get to watch him stream the new piece for a time!
I'd practically forgotten about this "over the shoulder" pose here...

So imagine my surprise when I get the notification that my commish is done, and not only do I get the super awesome Keyblade pose he came up with (will upload that one tomorrow night) BUT I GOT THIS ONE AS WELL?! THE HECKIES?!
I was hella shocked and was like "OH SHOOT, I DIDN'T PAY FOR 2 PIECES??! WHY SORA WHY?! ;~;"

That sonuvagun went ahead and included this piece as a gift because that's just how AWESOME Sora is and THAT'S how he rolls!
What could have easily been a full fledged piece on its own was included as an act of generosity, and I can't express my thanks enough for that (THANK YOU SORA IF YOU'RE READING THIS NOW AAAAAAA!!)

All the fangirling aside, it's easy to forget in all this excitement we get as the recipient, that the artists we commission are people, too.
They have their own lives, their own struggles, and some (such as Sora) make this type of work their actual job - they live off the very art they create for us.

So let's take a moment to appreciate all the hard work that has been put in for us.
Be nice to those you commission, and be thankful for all the awesomeness they bring to the community.
