Some will mouth you then forget and turn their head hurting you. It's not done intentionally.
Friend's wolf pups would do this from time to time. A growl and a swat on the nose got most to let go then turn to see what's going on. Many times had one of them fall asleep in my arms with their muzzle under my arm or with their muzzle tucked under my chin. One of the reasons they like to sleep with their head on your chest is so they can hear your heart beat.
All my Malamutes liked to cuddle up with their muzzle under my chin with an ear to my chest. Or if their head is in my lap they will move so they have their head on my belly. A mated pair will many times sleep so they can hear the other's heart beat or their breathing.
