Back with her again and I love how this turned out. While the chapter is shorter, it's to be expected as the last one was longer.

Two Worlds
Among Flowers
A couple days had passed since Nicholas had met Amethyst. Everything about her left the long-haired male stunned and daydreaming. Despite the two dragons and where they stood in society, the green one somehow would make it work of being together. Nicholas didn’t know if this was love or not but certainly he wanted to help the purple dragoness in any way he could. So far nothing had come from the two guards who had given her a hard time. The male figured his threat had been more than enough to keep their mouths shut. “Hey Nicholas?” went a voice.
The guy snapped out of his thoughts to see his mother. When it came to looks he had gotten mostly everything from her but his eye and horn color. “What is it?” he asked.
“I need you to run out to where the farmers are on the outside of the city. There’s some important stuff you need to pick up from them.”
“Okay, sure.” Nicholas was soon flying out of the castle and heading south. The farmers who ran these were mostly winged dragons with some wingless ones. But here the peace between the two types of dragons was much better. Even so, the wingless ones sometimes struggled which was where the winged ones tried to help them whenever they could.
The guy landed near the hill that overlooked most of the farms with Verona to the north. Nicholas then turned his head to the left and saw the blooming flowers that spread like a colorful carpet. The male saw someone there and turned to go but something made him stop. There was something familiar about the dragon there. The long-haired green dragon took off on his wings again to get a better look. He landed gracefully in front of them and to his surprise it was Amethyst. She looked up as on cue and both felt the slight blush come onto their faces. The wind began to blow, tugging at their hair and sending some flower petals floating into the sky. “Amethyst,” Nicholas then spoke in surprise.
“L-Lord Cobalt,” she replied, looking down shyly.
The male smiled softly. “You can call me by my first name. It’s only fair since I do so with you.”
The dragoness looked up in surprise at him. There he was again, treating her with such kindness and like they were equals. Nobody had done that before to her being a wingless dragoness. “Then… Nicholas…” she said. His breath caught in his throat; to hear Amethyst say that was also beautiful. “What are you doing here?”
“Picking up some stuff from the famers here. What about you?”
“Just finding some flowers for my home. To brighten it up in anyway.”
Nicholas sat down next to her and Amethyst blushed harder. “Well, I can help a little,” the male commented. “I’m not in a hurry.”
The dragoness smiled. “Thank you again…” she whispered.
The two began to pick them with him choosing which ones the female wanted. It was here that the two began to talk about what they were into. To both of their surprise, they could connect on things of dancing, music, the weather, and other things. Fighting, their personal lives, and secretive things were kept out but that was to be expected. “I didn’t think I would run into you again though…” Amethyst then said at one point.
“But of course we would,” Nicholas commented. “Nothing is impossible in this world. No matter who you are or where in life you stand.”
The dragoness stared a little, surprised the male dragon would say something encouraging and a little wise. He was smiling with eyes closed and Amethyst did as well, both sitting there among the flowers and blushing slightly. Then the two realized enough flowers had been picked. “I guess this is where we part ways for now…” he stated. They stood up.
“But… we’ll see each other again,” she whispered. “At least… according to you we could…” Amethyst began to walk off with her flowers but turned back one last time to look at Nicholas. “Goodbye…”
He watched her run off, smiling like an idiot before slowly turning around to where he was going. The male was unaware the dragoness herself was smiling like him with blush still on her cheeks. “Twice now I’ve seen him!” she thought happily to herself. But what the two didn’t know was that their next meeting would be one of shock and the beginning of something.
