All Floxal have hands and feet with two thumbs that allowed their ancestors to better live in arborial areas. Floxal all possess psychic abilities resembling that of the Force from Star Wars, including the ability to communicate telepathically. Floxal live in tight knit communities in which all Floxal raise the children together and care for one another. Pedophilia doesn't exist in Floxals and neither does homophobia or transphobia as all sexualities and genders are seen as the norm. Floxal culture assigns all children the same gender at birth and come adulthood in a special ceremony receive their adult gender which is based upon their role in society. Changing genders throughout life is seen as normal and a gender even exists for those who don't fit into any social role or simply wish to not be defined by one.

While Floxal generally have natural colors it it not unusual for them to dye and style their fur to their liking. Floxal can get to be really creative and competitions to out style one another exist, though it's all in the name of some friendly fun. Being highly social creatures they try to make friends with everyone, including humans. This has led to them picking up our sense of fashion and style and now many Floxal wear clothes resembling that of humans instead of their more traditional garb.
